HUGE issues with dining ADR's online this AM...

So here is what happened...

I was up a little before 6am with all my and my friends itinerary in hand making sure everything was matched up.

The first ADR I tried to make, everything came up smooth. The date and time I wanted was perfect. But then when I would try and move on I would get an "error" page.

Chefs de France and Teppan Edo are also not available for NO times 190 days out...?!?

I pressed back and this time the times were not available. So I have to X out and go back in and they still were not there. I read what it said at the bottom and it was saying to check back because it could not search those times. I just kept hitting the search button and eventually they came up.

Once I selected the time again the next page would error. So I had to keep hitting back and trying to search the time I wanted 4-5 times only to MAYBE have the next page error again or go through. This happened all morning.

I DID call but the wait was actually worse than what I was experiencing.

This was the first time I ever had ANY issues with dining reservations online and man...what a nightmare it turned out to be.

Yes my arrival date is 180 days from today so me doing 180 + 10 days was not the issue.

i fear this when i try in a few weeks. i always want the hard to get things and usually have 2 laptops set up side by side to make those ressies as fast as possible. I have been trying to do practice ones recently knowing how difficult it has been lately, and a nightmare! it just does not work, nothing is every available, even though i'm sure it really is available.
wishes is not available after june ?
bog is supposedly already totally filled by 6 am ?
i even test lesser desirable ones and can't seem to complete a reservation
system just is a disgrace

That sucks man. I had no issues last Wednesday when our 180 came up. I did mine online.

I'm sure you know the drill, but did you do the search from this page:

When I first tried on our 180 day, I tried looking through the exact restaurant, which lead to constant errors. Then I remember the general search page and that worked like a charm. I agree about the hold times too, I called last night to apply some Disney gift cards towards our balance and it took almost 30 minutes to get a person on the line.

I seen your post on Facebook and we had the same issue, we were at the 180 day mark thursday, it consistently would make me enter the dates twice, and then it wouldn't let me book the 10th day at boma (which is sept 26th), and I still am not able to book it online as of today so I will need to call.

It also gave me late meal times initially , specifically for ohana so I booked it of course, but when I went back on a few hours later I was able to get dinner time hours.

I used the above page like draybook and had smooth sailing Thursday morning. I really couldn't believe my eyes. Especially after hearing all the horror stories and thus being totally worked up over it.

I was panicked at the start because the initial page was telling me the site was down for scheduled maintenance. After I calmed down I decided to go back and try a different way of getting in. Thank goodness that worked.

Each time I went back to the main page pictured above after making a reservation, there was a red error message just below the search bars. Can't remember what it said exactly but something about there not being anything available at this time. I didn't panic. I ignored the message and just filled out my date, time, party size and hit the find the table and off it went!

Sometimes it gave me times I didn't like (prolly because I used the vague dining time of "breakfast" etc on occasion instead of an exact time) but when that happened I just clicked the arrow button on the right of the restaurant I wanted. It took me there and then I asked for a specific time and always got what I wanted.

The only thing I couldn't get was BOG dinner. I wonder if it's just not up yet because I agree...to already be gone right at 6 am? That's crazy!!
(Is ok though since I really want the lunch anyway and will cross my fingers that I can get a FP+ once it opens up for me.)

Too long winded-sorry. Glad that you got what you needed and hope our experiences are helpful for anyone else that's having troubles.

I can't see fireworks or any special shows either. But only past whichever day is 180 at the time. If it's within the time frame then I can. I'm assuming that this is how it works for everything that's not dining at this point so don't stress!

I tried both man...

I did get what I wanted it just took over 2 hours to do. Very frustrating.
I saw your post on FB this morning and immediately tried myself and was able to see times for both TE and CdF for 4 guests for September 18. I'm not surprised by this as Disney's IT is pretty much garbage and told them so in multiple surveys. I hope you eventually get what you need/want.

went on today at 6 am just to test it (since I was up for work anyway), was working a little better. although you couldn't make a reservation through the first screen, you had to do it from the second.
I was amazed what is not available. now, I couldn't do the plus tens since it's my real reservation time yet, but nothing for bog, nothing for beaches and cream until late in the day, nothing for le collier. wow, they are really filling up fast.
and still no wishes dessert party available for booking, wish I knew when they were going to come out

I always feared doing ADRs online. I had so many problems a few years ago and last year, it took 5 phone calls to straighten it out. Hope everything worked out for you. My ADR day is Apr 23, and I'll be calling LOL.

just a warning DisneyDebNJ (should have stolen that name from you long ago btw since i am also from NJ), folks like me are aiming to beat you out by that hour from 6 AM to 7AM. :devilish:

just saying.......

my ADR day is Apr 7, so won't be competing for same ones fortunately. don't need to make any more enemies.......and you know those Jersey girls, they can be tough! they only build the bridges so we can bury the bodies under them.

Heya @docdebbi how YOU doin?!?!? LOL I dont even get up at 6am, LOL (lazy arent I???) I just always had better luck calling. The best advice I can give is write those confirmation numbers down! They come in very handy!

I thought originally my date was today, but I double checked and found it was tomorrow. Saved me from waking up early two days. I also saw the Food Blogs posts on Facebook about the problems Saturday. Really dreading tomorrow morning-hoping it goes ok. If I am a little late for work it's not a big deal, but get nervous.

Today was our 180 day mark and while I did the online adjustments to ADRs last year in Feb, I've always done the phone thing. Got right thru with no wait this morning @ 7am and was done doing 8 ADRs within 15 minutes and got everything we wanted. Only exception was having to move one reservation 5 mins and another 10 mins.....certainly not any issue. Great experience.

Glad to hear! Hoping they got the bugs worked out. I remember three years ago or so having difficulty with the 180+ with DVC reservations

THANK YOU for calling the issue a BUG - not a "Glitch". I never understood what a "Glitch" was, and think we've been FED that term to divert accountability away from WDW I-Weenie.

Yes, encountered more bugs this am. I could make ressies for 5 days into my trip and then it would say there were no reservations or that it was not working at this time. After calling i nailed down my 9 days worth with ease. Stitch may have had a glitch, but the online system not so much lol.

I didn't have any problems when I went on at 180 days. The site seemed a little slow but was able to get what I needed, plus they are linked to my MDE.
Keep trying, seems a faster network service works better.
