I live about ?4 miles from the stadium (my mother can see it from her 11th floor window), and when I ran out to get breakfast stuff for my son & his friend, the Publix lot (which is on the way to the stadium) was full of people buying tailgate supplies. I hate to tell you, but the Bulldogs were certainly in the majority! (Of course, the Gator fans were probably already downtown claiming the best parking spots, and have been partying since YESTERDAY morning. )

For those of you not familiar with the FL-GA game, the party started on Thursday, with the RV village opening. Sometimes it seems as though the game has become incidental to the party.

Jacksonville is considered "neutral territory" as it is between (sort of) both college towns.

As an aside, my son dressed up as the "Black Mage" last night; the costume was orange and blue.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

State should have won. If it hadn't been for that stupid bye week we had the week before, we would have started the game playing the way we did in the end. I was at the game. Third row of the student section. It was soooooooooooo much fun! Although my friends and I are convinced we lost cuz we weren't sitting in our normal seats - Front row of the student section in the corner. Can't wait for the next game so I can have my front row seats back again!

I was wondering when you were going to find this thread! Your seats had nothing to do with MSU losing. State would not have even had a chance at the end except for 2 UM mistakes. The uncontested TD pass and the fumble returned for a TD. Good luck vs. Ohio State. MSU should be able to handle them since they barely beat Penn State.

I'll root for anyone playing OSU.

I know my seats didn't have anything to do with it. It was just my friend's way of coming to grips with the loss. And when I look back on it, I've sat in the front row for every home game except Western (which was pretty much a guaranteed win) and Louisiana Tech (which we lost as well). That one TD where MSU intercepted or whatever they did at the other end of the field and ran it all the way down was the best. My best friend was with Sparty on the field and he had just finished beating up Willy in the endzone and the 2 were just hanging out there, she said she was yelling at them and almost had to go drag them out of the endzone when she saw him coming.

And as for OSU, I heard on TV today that their starting QB could be out for the game so that could work to our advantage.
