HSIA at Pop Century?

I noticed that the Internet Access page mentions that Pop Century is expected to have access in the room by 4/19/06, can anyone confirm that it is available now? Thanks.

I saw the wall connection underneath the table and chairs. This was in the 70s building. I can't remember seeing anything advertised about it in the room yet.

Wow, that was fast! I did see that as well when I was there in January, but I wonder if the desktop cable and info on how to use it is there. Thanks for the quick reply.

I don't remember seeing any information cards or cables and this was just a few weeks ago.

Bring your own cable (we paid $2 in Radio Shack); they (WDW) charge around $5/day (if I remember correctly). That is on top of the $9.95/24 hour fee.

If that's all I need then I have a cable I could bring. Is the service active though?

You plug in, open your internet page and the instruction page is where your home page should be. Just follow the prompts for service.

I just used their HSIA on Tuesday! It cost $9.95/24 hour period. I did not bring an ethernet cable, just called mousekeeping and they brought me one within minutes. It cost no charge (I asked for it a week prior almost and it was not charged on our room bill, the internet access was), so don't worry about bringing a cable or buy one if you forget.

The speeds were great. I'm not sure if it was because people weren't using it... but it was faster than my verizon dsl at home and access at my college. I was able to download (haha) 100 mb files in under a minute. Sweetness for me!

We were at Pop Century last weekend, and there was a little icon on the door to our room indicating computer service. Not sure of any details about it though.
