HS to EC boat

Also, when going from HS to Epcot, if there are a lot of people on the boat, we usually get off at the first stop past the Swan/Dolphin which is the Beach Club resort and walk to Epcot.. When it is busy you cut 5 minutes or so off the trip, and beat the boat to Epcot so there is no line at the entrance..

We tried the boat ride twice - once got kicked off because of a storm coming in. We made it the second time. It's uncomfortably hot with no air. Honestly, it seemed charming at first. Now we take the bus. Air conditioned and fast.

Is it really faster to take the bus? I'm heading from HS to Epcot France for lunch, and would rather not traverse the whole of Future World to get to France.

There is not always a bus from DHS to the Epcot, especially during slower periods like mid-day. You will either need to take the boat or walk. To save both time and steps, ride the boat to either Yacht/Beach or Boardwalk (can't remember which resort is first in drop-off order) and walk the remaining way to Epcot.

We don't mind walking but do like the boat ride. We normally just get out at the 1st stop and walk the boardwalk into Epcot. Boat ride is only like 5-10min but waiting sometimes can be like 15min

I think we are gonna do the boat. We havent ever taken it before so it will be a new experience. And my mom's knee has been acting up recently so avoiding the extra walking will probably be good. We have a Plan B incase we have to just get her a wheelchair.
