How's the line for Star Tours looking so far today?

Let's just say, if you're planning a trip in June, send a dummy of you to stand in line right now and maybe by the time your trip comes, you'll be at the front of the line.

I see. Last time I hit an attraction opening day was The Living Seas, which was a couple of hours but not too bad. I guess 1986 Fish Ride isn't as big a draw as 2011 Star Wars Ride.

One my apps is telling me the wait time is already 90+ minutes with no fastpass left and the rides only been open for an hour!

I would take a guess and say that the lines will be at least in the 3-5 hour area for at least the next 2-3 days

160 Minutes per lines. Keep in mind, this attraction also has huge capacity. If the demand was this high on something like Soarin you'd be looking at 4-5 hours.

Yea, this is true.

My WDW iPhone app is telling me theres a 50 minute wait. I dont think its accurate, but you never know.

Lines is currently saying 105 minutes, and there are several people reporting times of about that. That being said, Lines is calling today a "5.3 out of 10" in terms of the Park Crowd Levels for DHS. That doesn't seem right. After watching the Grand Opening online, it looks pretty packed there. I would think today, if any day, would be a 10 out of 10!

Lines doesn't take into account special events like a ride opening.

The Undercover Tourist app is showing 50 mins.

While I think 5 out of 10 is on the low side SWW and attraction openings like this will make one section of the park full tilt insane, but the rest of the park will be fairly normal to light.

Anyone have wait times on TSM, RnRC and ToT?

Hmm, that is strange. I would have thought it wouldn't be too hard to factor in a special event like this. I partially agree with what you said, about one part of the park being packed and the rest light, but I also think something like this drew a whole lot of people, enough to fill up the ST line, as well as many others. Lines is currently saying:

TSMM: 65 min
ToT: 35 min
RnR 48 min

I wonder how tomorrow will be? We have dinner reservations at Brown Derby at 7:55 and after that figure will ride stuff until midnight.

Maybe Disney was off on their projections for the wait time???? I doubt it will get up to the 4-6 hour long wait.

Yipes. Local news made it sound like that crowd was lining up for the midnight event.

Those of us who attended the midnight event, had to park over at Blizzard Beach and then they bused us over to a backstage entrance and we came right through the gates adjacent to the ride building that the parade goes through.
