Hi there. Long time visitor who was too lazy to post and or register. Now I got around to it:-p

I'm a college-aged (freshman!) male who, once hitting his late teen years, began to feel a yearning for more family trips after we stopped going each year (we went like, each year for as long as I could remember, at least 10 years).

I miss the 20k Under The Leagues (I thoroughly remember the inside of the sub, altho I was really young), but still love the parks (even though I have not been there in something like 3 years?) I love, absolutely beyond all comprehension and reason, what I refer to as Dixie Landings (it's changed names, I think it's French Quarter at Port Orleans?) One of my BEST memories there (aside from the whole trip) was one kind (and cool) Cast Member (is that what they are called at the hotels?) showing me some really cool tricks with the yo-yo I was playing with (after kindly asking if he could use it). That, and I love the restaurant with the big mill wheel in it, just because it's where we've always gone (and the pizza is delicious, watching them hand-make it was always cool, with the throwing in the air!).

Man, I love that place. Well, I heard a family rumor that we will be going there in the Winter, right when I get off for the Holiday Break. That being said, are there any recommendations for a 19year old to do at Disney (for what may be his last time there before he takes his own family there, haha)? Or, perhaps, directions whereas to find such information?

Thanks all!

First of all, welcome aboard!

What is there to do for a 19 y/o? Same as there is for everyone else!
Hit your favorite rides from childhood! My 18 y/o loves to wander off by herself for a day at EPCOT while Dad takes the little one to a water park and mom gets a day of rest.

So much has changed over the past three years that I am sure your entire family will find plenty that they want to do; enjoy your time together.

There was just over 3 years between our '03 and '06 visits. There is so much new stuff in WDW, plus all our old favourites. Plenty to do during our 21 day visit

Welcome :)

FYI, Dixie Landings is now Port Orleans Riverside. French Quarter was the "first" hotel to just be named Port Orleans.

P.S. The restaurant with the wheel, I believe, is Boatwright's.
