Hojo East Maingate- are some rooms better then others?

If that is the one on irlo bronson just southeast of disney, i stayed there in october. The rooms aren't much to brag about, but at the price, who can refuse!

I had some tiny ants coming out of a hole near the sink, but I didn't really care or complain. It was an old room with a poorly sealed door, but I am a single guy and not picky about rooms so it worked for me. I just wanted a place to sleep, shower, and work on the internet in air conditioning. It is right next to an IHOP and some other restaurants, plus some gift stores and a Walgreens and Publix. In all fairness, it looks like they are renovating rooms. The pictures that you see on the website are what you get, it looks about the same as the room I had, except I had one king-size bed.

One week of howard johnson at $300 is worth it if you want to save money. Just compare it to a week at a disney resort! Driving to disney in the morning is super quick and easy since you can avoid all the bad traffic downtown. I'd like to stay at a disney resort one of these times, but i don't know that i can justify spending so much more money. :shrug:

my friends and i stayed there over this past new years and it was just fine. nothing special, but we weren't in orlando for the hotel room. we were in the room to sleep, pretty much. it was comfy and clean and we've made reservations for the same hotel this summer, but we opted for the deluxe room as it has a micro/fridge in it and that was the only thing we felt like we needed last time.
