How would we feel if Disney did this to Mickey

Not really Disney (and I am sorry if this should not be posted here) but I was thinking what would we do?

I was watching TV this morning and saw something Very odd some kid was starting a petition about the changes to Bugs Bunny.

So I had to find it all on line and found a few things
one was this http://www.toonamiarsenal.com/misc/lf/LoonaticsPreview.mov

In an another (animation group some none G rated talk) group. They talked about the changing of America Icons. http://www.cartoonbrew.com/archives/2005_02.html

So I was thinking, what would we do if they changed Mickey Mouse like this?
And is Disney that dumb to try? Remember the head of Disney was the Head of ABC.

I think the difference is that Mickey is far more of a corporate icon for the Disney company than Bugs is an icon for Warner Brothers. For that reason, I can't see them suddenly and radically altering Mickey's character model. However, do keep in mind that the Mickey we have today looks far different from the Mickey that was created in 1928.

And I agree with Grizz: CGI Mickey =

yeah but im not sure they really "CHANGED" them...
I think its just a new show.
Besides...the last time I saw a 'new' Bugs Bunny cartoon I hated it. They had mouths on them doing the voices? Kinda like on Conan. what was that about? Im sorry I wish I could remember more.

I think that's pretty cool. It's just a new show and not like everytime we see Buggs Bunny he will look like that. I think it would be funny to see Disney characters as superheros but Looney Tunes characters already have characteristics that are good for super hero powers.

Sure here is an example like WB

Mickster - The boss - a fifty mob look (and his guard P.Dawg- drug, bomb sniffing)
The Don - marine expert - ex-navy seal look with anchor tattoo (with H.D.L. force)
The Goof - intelligence - a super spy look
Minns - the chem. expert (love potions her best) - slick latex look
DD - demolitions expert - feminine but dangerous

Even this is better than what WB did to the Loony Toons.
