How Will Loss of Pixar Affect Parks?

Just curious to hear what people think, the loss of the future Pixar relationship will do to the theme parks. Will Disney go whole hog on exploiting the 7 Pixar films for which it retains the rights (Toy Story 1&2, Bug's Life, Monsters, Nemo, Incredibles, Cars) since there is no concern that they will have to share any further royalties with Pixar? Or will Disney now minimize the exploitation of those Pixar films fearing that they will be lending credibility to an animation competitor? Interesting question.

I tend to think the former.

Interesting article about this on CNNFN.COM....
It mentions that this could all be a barganing ploy by Pixar to force Disney's hand...

CNNFN Article

Will be interesting to see what happens either way but I would bet that Disney will market the heck out of the Pixar movies. While the movies are Pixar, the characters have been associated alot with Disney and the parks. Interesting thought tho...could Disney make a Finding Nemo 2 if it wanted without getting into copyright issues?

Disney really hasn't had to worry that Universal could be out there advertising as "the people who created Beauty and the Beast...."
