How to turn your Sony NEX into a medium format camera

Well...

As someone that shoots a Hasselblad... Resolution isn't everything. Yes, you can use any camera, really, to shoot multiple photos of a scene and then stitch them together (using a variety of software) and end up with a HUGE file. But this is really only useful if you plan to print very large.

But keep in mind that it's more work. You won't get the image quality from the lenses that MF typically offers. Then there's the depth of field difference; large media (sensors/film) have much less of it than tiny ones (technically because of lens FoV and subject distance and not so much the size of the media). There's also the quality of the sensor; dynamic range, pixel size, bit depth, signal to noise ratio, etc.

Just sayin' :)
