One year we were going to Walt Disney World with another family. All reservations, etc. were made by the parents, but the secret was kept from all kids. One Friday evening, we had that other family over for pizza and to watch a movie. We had the pizza ready, and everybody sat down to watch the movie, which turned out to be that year's Disney Vacaton Planning DVD. As it became obvious what the "movie" was, my wife and the other mom came in the room shouting, "We're going to Disney World!" and handing out Disney character plushies to all the kids. Pandemonium ensued (I think we're still scraping pizza off the ceiling).
