how to post a picture???

I scanned a picture in, but I am having major problems on how to paste it in a post of mine.

What forum are you trying to post it in? Some forums either do not let you post attachments, use IMG code, or both. Also, what size is the picture? Not only does it have to have a small file size, it also has to be a certain width and height (720? x 500 or something like that, I forgot the actual dimensions )

I don't understand what you mena about sizes, I'm not computer literate for a young kid, and I dont think I'll be able to resize pictures. I do know how to paste a picture in AOL mail though, but not on the forum.

A picture has to have a length or width of maximum 740. Say you have a picture 800 x 600, than you would have to reduce it down to 740 x _____ (whatever the appropriate number would be).

Do you have any photo editing software that would allow you to resize the picture? Even the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint (2002) allows you to resize and save graphics..

For some reason im not able to post any Pictures that are in my harddrive.

Could someone inform me step by step on how someone can post a pic?

I tried using IMG, but IMG is for pics in web pages, My pictures are in my harddrive.

It should be easy to post your pics
Just go to the browse button at the bottom of this screen when Replying. And put in the pic you want.
