I've been to Disney once 2 years ago and am currently planning another trip. I want to see Fantasmic for sure. I am wondering do you purchase tickets ahead? Any kind of tips are welcome. Thank you!

Fantasmic doesn't sell specific tickets

You can get a FastPass for it, or (not sure if they still do it) you may want to look into the dining package. Its dinner and reserved seat at Fantasmic.

Of course, there is always the 'sit your bum on the curb for an hour before" method too.

I'm a little confused. Are you asking about purchasing tickets for Fantasmic!? If so, you don't need a separate ticket for Fantasmic!. You just need your regular park entry ticket.

Then you just have to wait in the line to get into the Theater. Or as mentioned above you can pay for a package that includes Dinner and reserved seating for the show.

Oh ok...that makes sense. I'm clueless but the dinner option sounds amazing! Of course just finding a spot on curb could be very fly by the seat of your pants whimsical!

We didn't want to stand in line for Fantasmic to get a decent seat, so we bought the Dining Package. Dinner was just ok, but it's still a Disney buffet. We walked over to the theater and were shown to fairly decent seats in the center section without having to wait in a line. Well just before show time, off in the distance you could see some lighting. So, sure enough, 15 minutes later comes the announcement that due to lightning "in the area" the show was cancelled. So even the dinner package doesn't guarantee you'll see the show.

Do a lot of research. Try a copy of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and possibly enlist the help of a reputable travel agent like Kingdom Konsultants.

Have you seen Fantasmic before? It is my absolute favorite attraction out of all theme park attractions ever! It is so magical and uplifting, and features a ton of Disney characters and movies. I heard they recently updated it so that the images on the water screens are clearer, but I haven't made it to a show lately. I want to check that out, though, definitely! I try to go at least once a year, not too many more times because I'm afraid it'll grow routine. (What? Never!) I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I agree that the dining package is the way to go. If you are on the Dining Plan its included too. I've never actually done the dining package before, but I have reservations for it at Mama Melrose's for my Aug trip. I just hope the weather is good!
