How to find characters?

What is the best way to find out where characters are and when they meet in the parks? I thought I heard you could look in My Disney Experience, but other than a handful of princesses that are in the Hall in MK, I couldn't find where others like Pooh, Alice, Donald, Peter Pan..... or others would meet.

Go into the app and choose maps, then select the characters option from along the top.
Filter to Select the park and then hover over each of the Mickeys to see who meets there.

Edited with more specific steps.

You could also go the Guest Services upon entering any park and they can tell you approximately when and where characters will be showing up.

Thank you! I hate to admit it, but I didn't even realize I could "scroll" the top icons on the map page of MDE. Once I found the character spot I figured out I could then tap that character and it gave me times! Thanks again!

The article lists all the locations in each park for what you might call “regular” meets.

It also reminded me that if you click the “Lists” button on the map (bottom right) showing character locations you get an alphabetical list list of all characters in the park. That might be a quicker way to find a particular character.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope I'm able to see him. I know he has been out in MK for something, maybe called Cool Kids Celebration, that is being promoted. I won't expect to see him, but I'll hope.

Hope you luck out and can see him. We always were able to see Jimmy Cricket in MK and AK and then he all of a sudden vanished and never appears.
