How to deal with Disney withdrawal?

Withdrawal? What's that?

I'm in anticipation mode most of the time, and my "depression" usually only lasts from the time I drive out from the World until I can upload my pictures and videos to my home computer. After that, I'm either fondly reminiscing or planning the next trip, however far it might be. And I always plan two trips in advance, mainly because I know it's impossible to see and do everything I want to in a single trip.

Honestly? The only way is to move closer, get an annual pass and go all the time. What are you going to do otherwise?

You'll be thinking of the Countdown to Extinction time warp tunnel every morning when you look down into your toaster as it prepares your delicious toast. Look around as you commute the "Autopia" to the sounds of The Haunted Mansion, Monorail and Space Mountain...you're not there! Eventually the jig will be up during your joyless swim in the pool surrounded by shoddy plywood Splash Mountain characters, Swisskapolka blasting from your crappy treehouse nearby.

Begin planning your next trip.

Look into every way to get there, all the things to do in Orlando, how e vacation might be different depending on where you stay, etc.

We buy pins all year and organize our disney pin collection and listen to disney parks music to get through the terrible times!! But we are going in two weeks...so we won't have to be pitiful for too much longer!

lol isn't that the truth regarding credit card bills...you start beginning to think "We need to go back, I'm going to start planning..." have it all set up to book...login to VISA...and boom..."Maybe we don't need to go quite yet..."

Book another trip and go into planning mode all over again!
Smell the soaps and shampoos you took from your room, listen to Disney music, watch the Travel Channel Disney Parks shows, work on your Disney Scrapbook, read Disney books such as "The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World" ( very interesting read), watch videos that other Disney fans have posted on YouTube of their trips.

You Tube and this site get me through. Plus I start planning the next trip when I am on the ME bus back to the airport. Just got back from a WDW trip in early Dec. and I am planning DL trip for Aug. 2015 already.

I come here for comfort and talk to my son about our trip to Disney in 2012.
Sorcerer's Radio, Mouse World Radio help too...
YouTube is great as well and I do go on to the Disney's website and price out a trip, check out dates, and stuff.

But honestly, this places makes it feel closer to WDW because people are always going, you always know what's going on, etc.

CANNOT wait to go in 2015...we had talked about us taking him when he turns 10 in November and we would spend Thanksgiving there but he loved the water parks so much that I will see if we can change it to May as I doubt the water parks are open in late November.

Another thing I do is add WDW as a location to my Weather.com App on my iPhone so I can see what the weather is like down there.

Oh and I also have a folder on my iPhone with all the Disney Apps, WDWMagic Apps, Universal and SeaWorld. Makes me feel closer to the magic of it all!
