How old are you?

In MY universe of course.

In actuality, I am 35 and drive a 2000 Ford Mustang. My other car is a 1999 Ford Winstar. My earing hole is pretty much closed up, although my youngest daughter is pretty sure she can 'stick a knife in it' to open it back up. The mullet has pretty much been replaced with short hair (1/8 shear on the sides and short on top) with no bald spots to report yet. The greying process has begun in earnest (must be the two daughters). I like to camp as well as spend vacations at the beach. I will be returning to WDW in November of this year since my one and only previous trip with my wife to Epcot back in the 1993 to 1994 time frame. I have been happily (very happily really) married for nearly 12 years and on May 29, we celebrated our 16th year together (from our first date).

You can usually find me spending far too much time on this site, throwing in nuggets of wisdom traced with juvenile behavior. I look forward to providing some real tips and pointers after my November trip and will most certainly be seeking those items from the experts here as the vacation approaches. And contrary to popular belief, I have never had an uncle in jail. . . sorry Chris.

Very good...we share a few things in common:

My gray hair comes from my 2 daughters also.
Camping was a favorite until we put the 2 girls in a cabin together. We now vacation at WDW & the beach with an occasional trip to Hershey Park thrown in.

We also share a special day- May 29th...the anniversary of your first date with your lovely wife & mine & my DH's wedding anniversary. (22 years of wedded bliss).
You are not alone in spending waaaaay too much time on this site...most of us are guilty of that.
I like your universe.

ps. Stay away from Chris. :lookaroun

42.....Which makes me old enough to remember when the shows on "TV Land" were "Must See TV".

I never felt old until the day the theme song from "Friends" came on the radio and I mentioned to one of my co-workers that the band on the song sounded a lot like the Monkees.

To which she replied "Who are the Monkees?" I knew right then I was old. LOL

Three dozen eggs + 1.

Old is when your friends daughter sees a typewriter on your desk and asks you what that is. "It's kinda like a printer, but you make the letters yourself, instead of the computer."

Old is when you continuously call CDs "records". *sigh*

Old is when you still have a turntable that plays 33 1/3 LP's and 45's that you don't use for scratching (rotating a vinyl record backward and forward by hand to create rhythmic sound effects)!

Right on brothers and sisters!

Me too!

I also remember Martha Quinn and ... (were there any other VJs on MTV?) Ahh Martha... still cute.

I am 38!

Most important here: I remember The Walt Disney Story on Main Street, USA! What an impact!

I also remember "Now Is the Time" as the COP's "new" song (for its Walt Disney World show in the '70s, before it was "refurbished" to go back to the original "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow").

And I've got 10 years on you.

... And would-ya-believe Agent 86?

(Maybe we should keep these comments in the Cone of Silence, so that no one will see how old we really are!!!)

[But, hey, I watched it in reruns! Good TV never dies. It just goes to cable heaven... except for Vault Disney, but that is another story altogether... :animwink: ]

Or when a band has a new ALBUM out.

However, I had this discussion with a friend of mine. We decided that "album" is the concept of X (amount) of songs recorded to a media (material to save such recordings): record, cassette, CD, DVD, DAT, MD, SACD, etc. It doesn't matter what the media is, the idea that a band or singer has put out an ALBUM.

Rationalization, I like that.
