How Often Do you Get The Longhouse You Want At The Polynesian???

Hi ive been reading up and asking alot of questions about The Polynesian and ive seen alot of people give their own views on their fave Longhouse and i now have another question;

When you request to stay at a certain Longhouse at The Poly, how often do you get the longhouse of your choice? Is it random or do you get your choice more often than not?

Also is it just Hawaii that has the club level rooms??

When we requested Rarotonga, we got it no problem!
We requested it for our next trip too.

Im thinking thats what ill be requesting, Great Location!

We loved Fiji. We requested it beacuse it was close to GCH and boat launch. We had a room the overlooked the marina. And I would absolutely request it again. My kids loved waking up in the morning and looking at the boats. From our room we could see marina, boat launch, and GCH. It was perfect even for my mom who was in desperate need of 2 hip replacements when we went.

I went ahead and called and they added it to the reservation.

On our first trip to the Poly we requested Tokelau and got it. The second time we requested Fiji and did not get it. Both times we put in our request when we made our reservations months beforehand. My advice is to have a second and maybe even third choice in mind just in case when you check in they tell you that your requested longhouse is full.

V good point! From what ive read so far, there are plenty of great choices at The Poly

Some claim they can hear the luau noise but we have never once heard it and as I said before we love the monorail view.

To me, this would be a positive. Adds to the island atmosphere!

We requested Tokelau but when we booked, when we got there they put us in Roratonga which worked out well as it was close to everything.
