I honestly don't really have a desire to stay there though, for the same reasons other have mentioned above me.

I don't think being locked in would be all that bad. Its not like you would be spending a lot of time there anyway. I'd probably go after the last fireworks or likely even at park closing. By that time I'd barely have enough time to look around before I fell asleep. And the park is open by 7:30am or so for breakfast so what would you really loose by being locked in? I seriously doubt you are truly locked in anyway. More like everything in the magic kingdom is closed so you can't go anywhere there. If you really wanted to leave for some reason I am sure they will have security escort you out and back into the park. My biggest concern is how much sleep would you get staying there? how noisy would it be in the castle suite with fireworks, parades, shows etc on those nights the park closes at 2am? how late can you sleep in? How early can you go to bed? I am assuming they will take care of transporting your luggage to and from your other hotel (because I doubt people are allowed to stay there more than one night at a time). I would not turn down an opportunity to spend a night in the castle. It would be worth it just for bragging rights

I think mainly because if they did then they would have to have all the other amenities that come with it being a hotel and that is likely just not plausible.

I wonder how much they would charge for a "look see",:stay behind the ropes", "don't touch" and "exit to your right" tour. There are many who would pay whatever the cost in order to see the castle suite. My bad. Shouldn't give them ideas for another up charge.

$3000 US - two adults, one night. But the Castle is not really a "Rental".... so ift hat $3000 went to a WDW sponsored Charity? No problem.

I would for sure pay to tour and still standing by my $5000 offer LOL . it would make no sense for them to allow it to be booked. they would need 24 hour staff in MK ... I do often enter those free sweepstakes to win a Disney trip... It's a shot in the dark but also my only chance at staying there lol ... #dreaming

Yeah,I wouldn't pay for those either. They're nice but when I can spend that money on so many other things.... a one nights stay isn't worth it. I'm sure the castle room is beautiful! But can't reason out being stuck in a room for so much!

I think the feeling of sleeping INSIDE of the Magic Kingdom would be great.. I for one wish I could do it just once. Even though it is a different view and park, I think feeling similar to Walt and being able to wake up and look out the window and see the Kingdom immediately would be something I would never forget. I don't know how much sleep I would get though, as I would be on cloud 9.

From what I understand, you're not stuck there if you really want to leave. There's a phone with a concierge person available 24 hours, and that person has to escort you to and from the suite, and to and from the park entrance if it's after closing. And yes room service.
Now all that being said, the suite would have to be priced higher than the suites in the monorail resorts, some of which go for more than $3000 per night during even normal season. I would venture to guess that Disney would have to put a price tag of at least $10,000 per night on something like this, and possibly even more like $25,000. It's a one of a kind suite in the most visited theme park in the world. There are other suites in hotels in other parts of the world that go for that kind of money, Disney absolutely could get it and even more if they wanted.

How much is it actually? I thought I read or heard somewhere it is $12,000 a night and that Johnny Depp was there not too long ago.
I'd pay...ohhh... $1,000 maybe, depending on how draconian they are on letting you wander about after the park closes. I'd bet there is a lanyard or something you can wear that lets you roam a little.

Pretty sure, it's no to both. I don't think that Johnny Depp as ever stayed in there and I can think of a thousand reasons why they wouldn't allow anyone to roam around after the park closes. It never really shuts down, the crews come in to get the place ready for the next day. They rehearse things after hours as well. With all the machinery roaming around can you imagine if someone got injured by some activity going on during the night. When you think about all the alleged "cash grabs" that are talked about on these boards, how could that not be one of them unless the risk is greater then the possible return. Not to say it will stay that way forever, but, frankly, for myself, I'd rather stay off site at an Econo-Lodge then at a theme park with nothing entertaining happening and I certainly wouldn't pay a premium price for that.

Id pay $10k-$15k for a full night, from 3pm to 11am.
Avg close time for the park is what, 11pm or midnight so you have until atleast then to come and go as you please. After that how hard is it really to stay inside from 1am-7am or so when ADRs start? Everyone is making a big deal about being 'locked in' but yet I'll almost gaurantee most of you all stay in your bed room during the same time frame lol.
Like a few have said, it's 1 suite in the most popular park in the world. It's almost priceless and that's why they don't offer it to the public. I wouldn't be surprised if you had a waiting list a few years long even at $50k per night capping with a 3/nt max stay.

i like the idea of renting it then donating the money to charity
i'm sure there's plenty of rich people that would shell out the cash,
or maybe its time to do another year of a million dreams theme or something where guests can win a stay in the castle suite, it would be a cool once in a lifetime experience so would be great for there to be an avenue to make it possible
