I'm not sure of the exact costs but I want to say that the larger shows are in the neighborhood of tens of thousands of dollars. There was a thread going around about this in the last month or so.

Something similar was in a thread about WDW's profit for TWDC. I personally estimated the cost between $80,000- $100,000 each night for all shows.
Of course I could be completly wrong.

Guess you could be right... all I know is that the EPCOT Fireworks take some figure of $38,000.-

If I remember correctly they stated on Keys to the Kingdom that Wishes was $50,000 a night...not sure if I remembered that right so if not someone please correct me.

I've heard from a reliable source that Wishes is around 11 grand. When I worked at the Studios, private parties could have a private showing of Fantasmic! for 25 grand I think. I imagine this number is a lot higher than Disney's actual cost. The Wishes number does represent Disney's cost however.

Sorry can't say because as someone stated, it's a no no. I can say no one has gottten even close for Epcot or the Studios. Someone hit Wishes right on the head.

PS. Keys To The Kingdom is ALWAYS full of misinformation.

They must be up there. I remember Travel Channel said that between all the firework shows and the different stunt shows. Walt Disney is the second largest purchaser of explosives next to the United States Military each year.

IllumiNations! has to approach $100,000...1100 shells plus all the flames..$200,000 with the Holiday Tag...I would imagine Disney spends close to $200,000 on a normal night, total for all three shows.
