Hello again

I could afford that 57 Strat..thats' not a problem, I just think he's asking a tad much for it. I've seen the same guitar for alot less money. Collecting guitars is an interesting hobby. The trick is to buy them LOW and sell them HIGH. I have a 62 Fender Strat that I only paid 1,000 bucks for. I could probably sell it for at least 7,000 bucks today.

I hope your Dad finds a buyer for his guitar...one that will actually PLAY it. Guitars should be used not put in a case and tucked away in a vault or a closet.

Tell your Dad that if he can find a 58 Gibson Flying V or a 58 Gibson Explorer I might consider that $30,000 offer...hehehe..he will know what I'm talking about.

Well Scooter I sent him a e-mail..
He does play the Guitars he has But since he is in his Early 70s
he has got Carple Tunnel in his Arm so it is hard for him to play now.
So that is one of the reasons he is Selling his Collection.
He wants someone to buy Who is going to Play those Guitars.:animwink:

Sadly, I probably beat all you band geeks out there. I play clarinet, and can play a scale on the trombone, flute, saxaphone, piano, and tener sax. Not to mention, that my next year schedule (i'm in high school still....) goes like this: First hour-Independent study aka, teach 5th graders their instrument, and learn trumpet, then 2 and 3 is music theory, then actual band, then senior english then pych/social problems. Not to mention my website with tons of stuff bout band, and the fact I'm majoring in music. Oh, and the highlight of my week has been getting my new music theory books in the mail. Yes, this is sad, but I'm worse with WDW. :goodnevil

2nd why is that sad??
Music makes the world go around.. Right??
I used to have 4 classes in High school that were Band related.
I am in California BTW!!
I remember I had Concert band ,Then Jazz band,3rd period I was a Band Aid!! and 6th I was in Marching Band
and To top things Off I worked at my Dads Music Store after school,(selling Band Instruments)

Can you imagine how Boring the world would be without Music??:p

It's not really sad. Just kinda funny. It would be cool if I could have concert band, jazz band, and marching band as classes, but unfortunatly we don't. Cuz I'm a clarinet, I can't be in jazz band, but if I was, our jazz band practices after school on tuesdays and thursdays. Then marching band and concert band is the same class, for the first half of the semester it's marching the rest is concert. We have to do it that way cuz our band has about 240 members, so as it is, next year we are going to have 3 bands. And they have to revolve around lunch. It's to complicated to explain hehehe. I can't wait till April-marching season starts AND I get to go to WDW for spring break AND get my senior pics taken at GF!!

Well, I could, but I like playing my clarinet. Not to mention, I have a good chance of being Section Leader next year, and our section is a close section and I don't want to leave them. I could learn sax for jazz band, but the fingerings are actually not that similar, and the embosure is different. I'm just starting to be able to play it.

I'm the guitar player and the leading vocals of a band. We are very flexible, so we play many types of music, including Modern Rock, Pop, Grunge and more. Things are going fine so far, but it is just a hobby. I'll try to post some pictures of us rocking.
