Hi I was wondering ... How many People on these boards Play an instrument/Sing or work in the Arts?
and If you play?
What Instrument do you play?

I Play trumpet/Piano/Keyboards.
I love to oil paint and Draw.:sohappy:

Well..as im sure most of you know by now..I play a little...

Bit of guitar, keyboards/piano, drums, trumpet, A bit of vocals here and there, even did a bit of sitar work a few years ago...Im no SRV or anything, but I get by...

Art...*sigh*...Im not an artist..i play around a bit...I mean..I went to Art school, but i dont think of myself as a true "artist" since all i know was TOUGHT to me, and didnt come naturally.

I play drums in my high school band and I'll be the drummer when my friends and I form a band. I also play guitar.

EDIT: Yeah, I'm a band geek too! But then, I'm a drummer, and in the drumline, which is the least "band nerdy" you can get while still being in band

I play kazoo. And I'm the drummer in an imaginary band! We're called Easy Weasel! I play air drums, to accompany air guitar and air saxophone!

As you may have seen in another thread, I was a band geek in high school (I know I know once a band geek always ...). I played trumpet although it's been a couple of years since I've played in any group. I'm a hot shot chemistry prof. now.

Mega Band-Geek here....been playing trombone 14 years now....was a member of the U of Wis Marching band for 5 years (got 2 trips to disney with that band...and one in HS)...

I also pick a little bass guitar....but i'm still pretty bad

O lord...High school "band"...been there..done that...7 years..marching band...did that too...Played at epcot...But being a guitarist in a marching band was kinda freaky...i was the only one marching without an instrument...behind everyone else..such a lonley place to be...

For all you aspiring high school musicians who want to from a BAND BAND...heres a tip::

Image means a LOT...but not so much where you should make yourself look like a fool....example::

In high schol..I was in an 80s hair metal cover band (this was 1996), and we all dressed the part. We were popular..but looking back at videos/pics from that time...I would kick my own .

Needless to say...that band went nowhere... ;)

Do you need a kazoo player? Any excuse to go to Florida! (Just as long as someone else pays, finds me somewhere to stay, gets me some spending money....)

Come on, some one must want to pay us...

I'm in Florida this June, just need the rest now!!!

Weel I have to be there in Fl. Way Before June!!
I need to go Pickup my Fiance ( Tigggrl):)
Im moving her out here , To the Happiest Place on Earth!!!:)
