How many only sleep, wash, poop in their resort and how many...?

Spend time in the room, enjoy the amenities, etc.?

I hear that line of reason all the time when traveling and wonder if there is a majority of one camp or the other here on the site. I am definitely in the enjoy the resort and amenities camp

Our room is for sleeping, showering, and breaks at the pool. We are not going to spend a day there sitting around at the pool and lounging. Too much money being spent for that on such a short trip. If I were there for 2 weeks, then definitely.

My kids love the pool. Also we take a day of just relaxing sometimes two not to get tried out. Days we go to the park though we might not even poop at the resort.

I never understand what people do for an entire day in a Disney hotel. I hear about people spending entire days "enjoying the resort", but have no idea what they're doing.

I will spend time at the pool and hit the gift shops, but that's pretty much that. And I've never taken an entire day - from the time I wake until I sleep - to do it.
