How many of you are having trouble calling 407 area code numbers in DisneyWorld?

For the last 5 or so days I have been having trouble calling any 407 area code number in DisneyWorld. I have no problem calling any number in my area and I have no problem calling long distant in other areas. It's just the 407 area code number in DisneyWorld. What happens sometimes is when I call a 407 number I can't hear anything for like 20 seconds and then I hear a busy signal. Sometimes I can get threw but a lot of times I get the bus signal. I have never had any problem like this before on my phone or any other phone.

I just talk to a Sprint technician about this over the phone and explained everything to him. When he put me on hold to try to find out what was going on he talked to another Sprint technician. The other Sprint technician said that other people have been having the same problem that I am having with the 407 area code number not picking up and after 20 seconds you hear a busy signal and all that. When the Sprint technician came back he told me this. He also said something about comcast being the provider for that area or something.

Does anyone know what would be a good email address to contact Disney about this. Now both the Sprint technician and I believe that Disney must be getting a lot of emails about this. But I would still like to contact Disney to see what they say and to get more information.

Not to be rude but what exactly do you expect Disney to do about this? They are not the phone company.

Is it one of their phone numbers you are having an issue with?

Also please be aware the 407 area code covers the whole Orlando Metro area!

PS. Comcast is a cable company who may provide some VOIP phone service to area businesses and residents, but not the whole 407 area code.

Edit #2: My finance's brother and mother both line in Orlando and she talks to them almost daily without any issues on her MetroPCS phone.

I did a test and had no problems contacting a number at Disney using a verizon phone. Perhaps it is a problem that sprint is having connecting to something in the 407 area (unless the issue has been cleared up in the few hours since you posted).

Well they sort of are since Walt Disney World has its own telephone exchange. Disney used to run it themselves but now they contract out to Smart City Telecom.

It's possible there could be an issue between Sprint and WDW. Both parties should already be well aware if that's the case.

I don't know if Disney can or can't do anything about this. Maybe they can and maybe they can't. But it would still be nice to talk to someone at Disney about this.

I sometimes can get threw to Disney with no problems than other times I can't get threw. Sometimes it look like maybe the problem has been fixed, but then it happens again.

Well one of the Sprint technicians did not know anything about it, but the other one did. I can't remember if the guy from Sprint said it's just Sprint having trouble connecting to comcast in that area or if others who don't use Sprint might also be having trouble.

It's most likely a problem with Sprint (color me "shcoked!) because I certainly have had no problems getting through. There is absolutely nothing Disney can do about this.
