My last seven day trip, I did four days at Magic Kingdom, and three days at Epcot. I'm not really a big HS and AK fan. I rarely go to those parks.

We go the The Magic Kingdom twice. Once in the day when we show up for Opening ceremonies and once around 6 at night to see parades and fireworks.

How's the poll valid if you don't consider number of days total at WDW?
Full disclosure-

Over in the "magic is endless" thread people were talking about how they can't or won't travel during the fall/winter bc of the amount of parties that cost extra at MK.

I said that during my upcoming 9 night trip there are still 5 nights that I COULD go to MK if I wanted to. I don't spend more than 5 nights in MK, or even close to. So, it got me curious about how many nights people actually spend in the Magic Kingdom.
This is blasphemy for sure, but as park hoppers who only go for 2 1\2 or 3 1\2 days at a time during Flower and Garden and/or during Food and Wine, so we don't really go to MK at night anymore.

Without kids, it's nice to leisurely graze at the kiosks, see the new exbibits, ride some rides and stay for Illuminations or boat over for Star Wars or Fantasmic. Really looking forward to Animal Kingdom evening events.

I did the same on all of my F& W adult trips! We spent the majority of time at Epcot..went to MK for a few hours one day. Never went to AK during those trips, but would have if the new nighttime events would have been going on back then.

We usually hit it every night that we're in WDW. The 3 boys get their Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom cards and we play. They have a blast and we just relax.
We are going to do that for the first time this year! I'm looking forward to it!

We have gotten to the point that we have to schedule time for this now. My DS wants at the very least one evening dedicated to this. I just wish the readers worked better at night. I know they installed some light to help but some of the portals still have issues.

For a 7 or 8 day stay at WDW, we always spend the whole first and last day at MK, and we usually pop over after dinner to MK at least one of the nights we are at another park, especially if we spend most of the day at DHS or DAK.

on our 10 day trips I schedule 3 full ,rope drop to close, days at MK (although usually at least once we go to a monorail resort for dinner reservations and then back to MK). Then anytime it has later hours than the park we are at on other days, we hop over. Then depending on our arrival and departure plane flight times we might do an additional 1/2 day like the day we leave...rope drop to usually around 2 or 3 pm.
