How many days....

To be perfectly honest...200 days wouldn't be long enough to see ALL of Disney World.

With 5/6 days you would have to target the attractions/restaurants that you are most interested in and hopefully the lines permit.

Depening on your interest you'll need more than one day per park...Also, do you plan to do a water park, Downtown Disney/PI, DisneyQuest?

if you narrow down a bit what you most like or wish to see I'm sure we can help plan a loose itinerary for you.

To be honest, yes and no.
Yes if you want to rush around and just see some of the best attractions
No if you want to take it slow and see EVERYTHING

2 days for MK at least
1 day for AK at least
2 days for Epcot at least
1 day for DHS
and then 2 days at least for water parks if you want to go to them.

At one point in time it would have been plenty of time, but now there's so many parks & restaurants, you really could spend all year there and not see anything.

My advice is to research each park & restaurant. Pick the things you want to do the most, and prioritize those. That way you won't have to rush, and you might miss some things, but they most likely won't be things that weren't important. If you go and just wing it, you might end up missing some things you really would have wanted to do.

Don't forget to make ADR's for any restaurants you really want to eat at so you don't get shut out. :)

Should 5/6 days give me and a friend enough time to see all of Disney World??

Thanks:king:

No, its not. I've been dozens of times and I still haven't seen all of WDW.
It is a good amount of time to spend seeing the big rides/shows and each park as well as the parades and sampling some good food. Plan on using FastPass and EMH -if you are staying on site (EMH only).

I recommend getting a good guide book and going thru it; make a list of your must see, want to see. will see if we have time. Do the same for the restaurants you want to try out and then make your ADR's.

You can see quite a bit as well as take some time to relax, have fun!

Yes it should because 4 days you can go to the parks and the other 2 should be water parks. :) And maybe one of the days if a park closes early you can hang out at DD. I wish I stayed for all those days :(. When I go day 1 is just arriving because I always come at night then the next days I spend my whole day at MK and Epcot (I use EMH). My last trip in February I couldn't stay EMH for DHS because someone *bought the park* for the night (a waiter told me when I was at the Brown Derby) and then I went to MK. So anyways if you go to DHS use their EMH, its great. On my last day every year I visit AK for half the day cuz there is nothing to do in AK so we go after to MK and then right after that we go and visit people we know.
You don't really need 2 days at Epoct ;)

It depends if they want to go round the parks quickly or take it slow.

If they want to take it slow I disagree totally on what you've said. If you take it slow you could need 2 days for epcot. Magic Kingdom you definately need 2 days or more to fit everything in. Yeah you could do AK in half a day if you go quickly but when my family go we take it slow and it takes us a day to do AK and do everything, and there is nothing to do in AK you say? EE, It's tough to be a bug, kilomanjaro safaris, kali river rapids, dinosaur I can go on. Epcot you need two days if you go slow one to do future world and one to go round the world showcase.
DHS you can definately do in one day to go round all the rides and shops etc.

So either you've not seen everything and you've rushed round the world or youre just not a real disney fan:lookaroun

Really, our last trip (June 2007), was a 6.5 day trip. We arrivedon a saturday evening ad wound up at Epcot from 7-9 PM, thus the .5. throughout that trip we did a lot of park hopping. I would recommend the park hopper option because it gives you a tremendous amount of flexibility. One day during the week we went to Animal Kingdom in the morning, where it was insanely crowded. Instead of staying there, we hopped over to MGM/DHS where we found lighter crowds. Without the hopper tickets, we would have been stuck in AK with huge crowds and big headaches the entire day. The park hopper was really great in one othr situation. My dad and I had planned on having Lunch with an Imagineer at the Brown Dervy in DHS (I HIGHLY recommend Dining with an Imagineer!) After lunch, we took the boat over to Epcot's International Gateway, walked through the park and rode Imagination (which had no wait as usual). Right after that we left the park and used the monorails to get to the Magic Kingdom, where we met the rest of the family. Becase we park hopped A LOT that trip, we only missed out on a few attractions, and those were attractions we weren' really interested in seeing (like The Hall of Presidents, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Sounds Dangerous, etc.) ADRs are also a great idea to have, since dining fills up fast.

Also: based on personal experience, you would definitely need more than one whole day at Epcot is you really wanted to explore World Showcase. We tried to get around mos of the showcase on our last day, and we still didn't get to explore Morocco or Hapan and we missed the movie in France, which we'd never seen before. I didn't realize it wasn't run continuously, only every 45 minutes or so.

Sorry for the really lost post, but I just wanted to explain how park hopping is amazing if you want to get the most out of your time in the World. Decide what you want o see and then get creative with how you can use the transpotation system to your advantage (like my DHS-Epcot-MK hopping example above).

I have traveled to WDW at minimum yearly for the past 20-25 years and I still see things that I never saw before. I take it real slow and see things at my leasure. I have no problem sitting on a park bench for 30 minutes and just soak it in. I have gone to parks and have done nothing, but walk around. I am there for the atmosphere as much as the attractions. I have a hectic job and I feel so free there.

So if you are like me, it will take you 25 years. If not probably a week.

We like to go for 10 days. That being said we have 2 kids and need to take it slow. My younger sister who does not have any kids can do it easy in that amount of time. Like someone else said get a good guide book! That has helped us out a lot in the past.

Happy trip planning!

AK is not a half day park. To take in the rides, shows and walk the paths to see all of the animals...definitely not a a half day park. I especially like AK during the evening and night time EMH.

We always go for 7 days/6 nights, leaving early on the 7th day so we are in the parks for 6 full days, and we hit each park more than once and fit in everything that we want to see...but we haven't seen "everything". 2 weeks in wdw is not enough to see everything, but what ever you wish to see...a week is good. Last year when we went, we went to MK 4 days out of our stay (some were 1/2 days), and we still didn't get to see everything. There is so much to do, which is great because everytime you go back you can do things you haven't done yet.

I agree with everyone else. 5-6 days is no where near long enough if you want to see EVERYTHING. I don't know how many days it would take to see everything. We stay 6 days and we still pick and choose what we want to see. Enjoy your trip!

The first year we went to wdw we had the 5day park hopper which gave us 5 days in the main parks plus 2 days in the water parks. We had a day in each park and 2 in magic kingdom, then one at each water park....did we see it all? NO WAY! soooo much to do in Disney and like someone above said its about the atmosphere....to me its not about how many rides i can get in...its about having fun with my family and if that means walking around or sitting for half an hour enjoying an ice cream then so be it! The 2nd time we went to wdw we went for 3 weeks and spent 14 days in the parks, again we didn't see it all but we took things at our leisure and again next year we are doing a month in Florida (thats the plan at the mo anyway) and we intend to do 14 days at disney...again LEISURE is the key!

Not a prayer.

But that is the fun, you can't do it all, so you HAVE to go back and catch the remainder whenever you can!

Tell your freind to prioritize and take advantage of extra hours being offered. HAVE FUN!
