How many days in advance can you make your fastpass reservations?

Just a quick question.
When I went to my Disney experience it wouldn't let me put in a fast pass yet. How many days in advance can you book fast pass and other things?

If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel and have a package with tickets, you can make FP+ reservations starting 60 days out.

If you're not staying on Disney property, but you have valid tickets linked to your profile, you can make FP+ reservations 30-days out, one day at a time.

Follow up question
Let's say I made a fastpass reservation and we decided we were doing a different park that day or we couldn't make it. Do we loose the fastpass or can we make it for later?

If you're going to change parks, you'll want to decide that sooner than the morning you go, especialy if you want to get 3 useful times for things you want to do.

You can only book at one park per day (until you've used all 3, then you can book a 4th at any park using a kiosk), so if you decide to go to MK instead of DHS, you'll have to go in and change all 3 at once.

If you're going during a busy time (which is most times), it's hard to get what you want on that day.
