I did some fancy mathematics and I figured out I have stayed at least 159 days since 1989. That is a conservative estimate since I can only remember exact lengths of trips back to Jan 2003. It's been 86 days since the start of that Jan 2003 trip. The rest I just figured out with having 1 trip a year since 1989 and usually staying 5ish days. I know there were several years where there was a second trip involved so I didn't even count those.
I did the CP a few years ago and while I didn't work in a park, I still went to the parks probably 3 times a week, give or take a few. So 6 months of 3 times a week would be 72. We took family vacations to FL to visit my grandparents every summer for probably 10 years and usually spent 2 days at WDW. So thats 92. My GF and I went for a quick 4 day trip last year and I'm sure I'm underestimating my CP time. So I would say I'm over 100.
Our first trips began as 5 day trips, then we went to 8 days and now we're doing 10 day trips. Our first trip was in 1984 and we've gone nearly every year since. And I'm thinking 10 days is far too short!!
I'm extremely jealous. So far for WDW, we've done 18 days over 2 trips. We had to cancel our last trip this past September, which would have been another 8 days. However, we have 5 days coming up in March and another 8 coming up next September.
Now if we included DL, I'd be well over 100 since I am from SoCal and went at least once a month during the 80s-1991 for the weekends.
My plan is to somehow get the wife to move down there (my company has sites around Orlando and central FL) and go every weekend and during my time off.
