It wont be the trip you were hoping for but at least you can still go and enjoy family time. If African Trek gets cancelled you can grab it on a return trip. Glad your son can and will be accommodating you with the w/c. It can be a pain traversing the sidewalks when people wont get out of your way but Dis fortunately is easily travelled by wheels. Continued prayers coming your way.
Cancer update. Well, went to Dr's Thursday and they cut out another section on my leg. We were talking the whole time about Disney. Her father owns DVC at Bay Lake..... After she was done stitching me up I said "I need this all cleared up in 26 days so I can go to Disney ". She turned around and gave me the strangest look and said "I have marked a spot on what we are sending to the lab. I might have to take out more". I spoke with my son and he said he would push me in a wheelchair. That he would do what ever needed to be done. Looks like I will have to cancel my wild Africa Trek. But going to hold on to hope right now and keep the reservation.

You must be all packed and ready to go. Excited for you. Looks like you will have nice weather. Low 60's high 70's. Have an awesome time. Where are you eating your Thanksgiving meal?

Thank you worldfanatic. Send all the prayers you can conjure up. I can use everyone. There is no point in stressing over something that I can't control. I find that there are usually good reasons for everything in life. I may not understand or like what is happening at the time but later on I will have learned something from it.
Looks like we will be there around the same time. Stop and say hello if our paths cross.

Thanks JIMINYCR. You are so right. It won't be the trip I planned. I make an extremely detailed spreadsheet for every trip. Hours, reservation numbers, $ , list of food to try, activities to do..... But I can also throw it out the window and make spur of the moment decision on the fly in a heartbeat with no issues. Seeing my youngest son, been almost 3 years, is what I am looking forward to the most.
Been active all my life. My son and I were park commandos, open to close. We had a blast. This new chapter in my life is just making me slow down. I'll just see Disney at a new angle and speed.
