Oh, yes! We just got home on Thursday, and just sat down to plot out our Food & Wine visit. 43 days to go! No idea where we are staying yet, may be the Red Roof to bring the pooch this time LOL. (Have to check the WDW sales first.)
The Moon's crater Tycho is 53 miles in diameter, is named after Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe.
Location as seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
There is a chapter entitled "Tycho" in Jules Verne's Around the Moon, which describes the crater and its ray system.
Tycho was the location of the subsequent excavation of an alien monolith, in 2001: A Space Odyssey, science-fiction film by Stanley Kubrick and book by Arthur C. Clarke.
It also serves as the location of "Tycho City" in Star Trek: First Contact; a lunar metropolis by the 24th century.
