I'M BACK IN THE GAME!!!!!!! :):):):):):):)

I actually booked a few days back, but didn't want to post for fear my wife would see it. Got home form work today and surprised her and the kids!

Heading to Disneyland for the 60th! Leaving Sunday, August 9 for 7 days and now we all can't wait.

That makes 177 days to go!!!!!!
That's awesome news! Great to have you officially back, Coach.

17 Days! I am soooo sick of winter.. It hasn't even broken 10 degrees F here today with windchills 10 to 20 below all day and we are expecting another storm this weekend! It's going to be so nice to get away from it for 7 days... Expecting 6-8 inches so not as bad as they are getting it in coastal new england.. They are getting hammered!

That is sooo awesome! My wife and I went for our 10 year anniversary in 2003, and we liked it so much we returned in 2004. Did Universal Studios also both trips.. We have recently been talking about going back while all the construction is going on at Disney World. Only reason we are going to Disney World next month is for a business trip which I extended for a few days.. We have been the past 3 years for the Food & Wine Fest, but will skip this year... We are either going to do Disneyland or go to Orlando and just do Universal Studios Florida which we haven't been to since Potter opened.. Decisions decisions.... The 60th anniversay and seeing all Mike S pictures in the Disneyland thread have really got me leaning towards DL.. November time frame...

We have been AP holders in WDW for the past five years and didn't renew this time. Actually had APs for both DL and WDW the last two years. We weren't expecting to go this year to either, but the the draw of 60 was pulling at me. I went ahead and booked without anyone knowing!!! In fact, we already have other trips planned for this summer, but again I just couldn't stay away. Like you, however, I think we will avoid WDW until 2017 when most of the work is complete.

Have a great time at your conference. Having it in Disney should help (although, that actually might make it harder)!

Ugh that sounds exactly like the weather here. Our high on Sunday is -1 with -25 to -35 wind chills. Dreaming about our trip is the only thing getting me through this winter.

246 days to go!
