How Loud Near Pool at POFQ?

Just curious as I'll be there at the very end of May. Is it loud in the buildings near the pool? Anyone ever stayed in say building 5 on the top floor and faced the pool?

Many years ago, third floor corner canal view. Really not bad at all. There is relatively tall foliage all around the pool that tends to deaden the noise.

Never had a problem with the noise from the pool in more than 15 stays at POFQ all around the resort, facing the pool, facing the river, facing the courtyard.....It's a huge pool, very very underutilized....

Sometimes ADULTS rather than kids in the hottub make more noise at night than the kids every do in the pool during the day.

One caveat: the boats plying the river make significant noise, and now honk as they pass each other....this stops at 11:30, but if you are on the river side of one of the buildings, be aware that the boats will make much more noise than the pool ever will.

I didn't stay at a room near the pool, but I found the pool to be relatively quiet & tame anytime I was by it. I can't imagine it being too loud. I agree with Ron - the hot tub always was packed and louder than the pool. We stayed in building 3 with a courtyard view and loved that location - very quiet!

I never heard the boats, and I'm surprised they ran that late.
