How long of a boat ride???

I'm staying at POFQ for the first time and I was wondering how long of a boat ride is it from hotel to DTD? :shrug: TIA

Probably about 20 minutes but you won't notice the time because the journey is interesting.

If you are planning something to do with a reservation at DTD, then maybe allow up to an hour because the boat might not leave just as you get to the dock.

Around 15 - 20 minutes.

Something else to consider - sometimes you can stand on the dock waiting for a boat for quite a while - there's nothing more frustraing than hearing the boat coming form Riverside, only for it to sail past

Tip:

I found this was the quickest way to go from one hotel to the next. Just walk out to DTD bus stops and catch the bus to your destination. Boat ride was nice.:)

Not long like everyone else said - about 20 minutes. It goes by so quickley though. Also, at times, a line to get on the boat does form during the busy seasons, especially in the evening. Definitely take the boat over the bus - much more relaxing!!!

As everyone has mentioned, the ride lasts about 15-20 minutes. It is truly one of my favourite things about staying at POR/POFQ. It's very relaxing and you get to see some of the golf course, the Tree House Villas, Saratoga and seeing DTD lit up at night is great. The ride is also much more relaxing than the bus.
