Yeah, its about 10 mins.
And there is a preshow, well sorta, its the part where Goofy is walking around. Its considered part of the main show but the show officially starts when Minnie begins talking.
I at least consider it a pre-show, not the best but it's funny.

Yeh, it's a preshow but not an RnR type............ It is really part of the show...

Is there a big holding room before hand so it's not just straight from outside into the theatre?

Yes, there is a holding room. It starts out in a short hallway where you pick up your glasses, which isn't technically the holding room, anyway, but, after that, it's a large violet and gold room. But no screens, or anything. Just the normal "no eating, drinking, smoking, etc." spiel.

There's a main queue with posters up starring Disney characters. . . then there's the holding chamber.
It could have really used a preshow...but I wasn't that upset. Then again, I went in without a wait (the lines came in the afternoon - BIG TIME!)

When I was talkin about Goofy walking around backstage getting everything set up, theres the part when he steps on the cat and says

On that part, I either think or say softly to my self,
