How long have you waited to make reservations?

We're arriving in WDW on Feb. 6 and hoping to stay at Pop Century till Feb. 18 with AP discount. However, my sister is in charge of making the reservations and she still hasn't done it. Has anyone else ever waited till this soon to make reservations? Did you have any problems? Any info. is appreciated.

Yuppers...I made reservations 2 weeks before I went. I wouldn't wait too much longer...get on your sister's back! It's better to be safe than sorry!

I have waited up to three days before we arrived to make reservations as well as booked five months in advance.

I try to do it several weeks in advance when I can, but often wait until a week or two.

I normally have no problem getting the room at the rate I want, but there is that slim chance of it all not happening like I want it to!

I'd get on your sister to do it ASAP!

Except for holiday times on the slow times Ive made reservations the day before.Sometimes we dont know we are going till the last minute.

We went over Easter of last year & we made reservations at Pop Century once we were in Orlando. We spent 2 nights off property & the hotel was really bad, so we called & were able to check in a few hours later. The CM we talked to was really nice, apologizing & everything for the bad hotel.

Thanks for all the responses. Glad to know that we probably won't be out of luck. I'm gonna make sure my sis makes the ressies this weekend.
