We booked in early February -- 8 months ahead of our trip. Now we're 52 days out. There was a flurry of activity at the 6-month mark (ADRs and such), but it's been an excruciating wait since then! The excitement will really begin to ramp up in 3 weeks, when we tell our kids they're going to Disney World for the very first time. Can't wait!

Eh,Let me tink..52 years.After globetrotting around this planet it wasn't until at the ripe old age of what I just said,that I discovered this Magic land. What a waste of air miles.Why did my mummy & daddy not tell me about WDW.

Basically since we got back in Aug last year. We knew when we were going..started saving ..we had over a year.. we didn't book until free dining came out though.

<---- Our last trip, which was our first family trip, was in January 2009. I constantly think about WDW, but I've been in serious planning mode for a little over a year now. We're going next June and are hoping to recruit two other families to go with us.

Since January we fiddled around with dates, and finally called Jessica at KK February 1. Haven't even gotten there yet this year, 60 days to go, and already talking about 2013 LOL

I've been planning since April for this trip in September. Seems like forever but I think it's because I haven't told my DD yet. That is coming..............Next Monday 27th is her 10th Birthday and that's when I'm surprising her with the trip. Stay tuned, I can't wait to tell you how excited she is going to be.

My daughters bday is on the 27th as well. However she isnt going on this trip.

We normally have a new reservation in place before we leave the World so the initial planning begins a year out but doesn't really start up again until I begin looking at park hours for dining reservations at six months and flights follow shortly after.

I feel like we have been planning a WDW trip since 2006! We have had something in the works non stop since then.
Our current trip we have been planning since January. We will be leaving in 17 days! We also have a May and December trip in 2013 booked and working as we speak, thus the whole planning since 2006 thing. I personally think that we will have something in the works for many years to come.
