How long does the CP last?

Out of curiosity, how long does any CP term last? I know it goes by seasons, right? So if you started say in spring, how long would it last and when would it typically start (say, spring of 2009)? What if you re-up? How long does it last? I'm curious because I might want to be a CP when I start college. Thanks!

My daughter checks in on August 12 and she will be done on January 2, 2010.

The program lengths are:
Spring (Jan-May)
Spring Advantage (Jan-Aug)
Fall Advantage (May/June-early Jan)
Fall (Aug-early Jan)
Alumni program (May-Aug; this is for people who have done the CP before)

Also, if you extend, you are on the CP up to a year. So for example- if you extend the Spring program, you could either extend to Aug or the following Jan (so either Jan-Aug or Jan-Jan). The extension won't exceed 1 year.

Nope, you can transfer into another location/role- providing your record card is clean (however, extension dibbs are given first to people extending in their area). I may try switching roles when I apply to extend (unless I love my location).

There is none. Switching roles is the same thing as switching departments.
