So we have the heavy debate going on presently: "How long before we start seeing tattoos on Disney CM's?"

And more recently, another hot button topic, "How Long Before Disney Starts Charging Infants?" going on here:

Me being someone who looks at the BIG picture, I'm beginning to wonder if there is even a deeper-rooted mystery about to unfold throughout all of this: Will Disney start charging infants who enter the parks wearing tattoos?

Whether it's to demonstrate gang affiliation, or more innocently, to simply express one's self or interests...there is no denying the rising popularity of babies sporting an abundance of tats. So my question is this: Will Disney ever decide to capitalize on this growing trend as a way to increase profits?

The bigger question is, if worn tastefully, should it even be an issue at all?

Personally, I feel that if it isn't causing distaste or scorn from fellow infants, then leave it alone. Yet if it becomes a distraction, or interferes with day-to-day operations due to behaviors being influenced, baby fights breaking out, or other hindrances to guest enjoyment of the parks, then Disney may want to look into stronger policies, and yes (don't hate me for this) even stricter fees added.

Keeping this civil and respectful to any tattooed infants who may be reading, what are your thoughts on the matter?

"We're very excited to finally expand our 'first' services to things beyond haricuts" Says Greg Shorer, director of Disney's Enchanted Extras® program, "It's something guests have requested for a long time; people every day literally walk up to me in the parks asking, 'where can my two year old get Ariel inked on her back?' As a leader in family entertainment, we are always looking to be ahead of the latest trends, and no pre-schooler would ever be as 'TREN-D' as one who looks like they work at Hot Topic!"

First Tatt packages start at $149.99 plus tax per picture, depending upon their size. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club® members are elligible for 10% off. Reservations are strongly recommended and you can call 407-WDW-PLAY up to 180 days prior to book. A limited number of walk-ins are available on a first-come, first-serve basis each day."

Well, this is a serious question, and though I'm not an inkfant myself, I understand their plight. If I had to deal with ill-fitting, bulky undergarments, clip-on pacifiers, and dorky onesies, I'm sure I'd want a tattoo, too.

But, I also see that Disney has an image to uphold. So, in the spirit of compromise, I think Disney should waive the extra charges if at least one of the tats is a QR code linked to the family's magic bands.
