How long before they start charging for Star Wars Weekends?

I for one think that the extra ticket items that Disney have are fine. You can do them or you do not have to do them. It is your choice. I went to the an event at Epcot for Illuminations two weeks ago and it was a lot of fun. I could have watched the same show without playing extra, but it was my choice. There where 1,000's of people watching with playing any extra.

Events like Star Wars Weekend is to get people into the park during times of year when it normally would be slow. It is working and if they can get a few extra bucks for overpriced goodies and helps off set the cost for others, so be it. You will still be able to see the fireworks without paying extra.

Star Wars Weekends look awesome and I'm surprised they haven't been extended. I work for a huge publically traded company and the pressures from Wall Street to continually show growth are super intense. Whether we, as consumers, like it, Disney is a business an they MUST continually make __% more money year on year or shareholders won't buy their stock. I won't get too off on a tangent about ridiculous expectations of Wall Street...
Slightly off topic, I wouldn't pay extra for the Osborne lights. I liked it, but will be there that time this year and don't really care if we don't get to see them again.

German companies seem to attract investors and their system certainly isnt focussed on short term gains, and I dont think they are in hawk to the far East either.
