Well first of all, the original poster is a "she". And no I don't think you were sincerely trying to help her with her trip. Instead, I think you were trying to pass the Disneyland "Resort" off as something that it's not. That's not "helping" the original poster. I'm glad to read that she and her family are at least going to take a side trip to the beach. I sincerely hope they have a great time, whether they take my advice or your's.
