How late do busses run from the parks to Pop

I was wondering how long after the parks close do the busses run from the parks to pop? If we stayed to wander around the shops on main st, or visit beaches and cream after illuminations would we still be able to get a bus back to the resort?
Also, how is the bus system at pop? (in late april/early may)? Is it a long wait, i know when it was a long wait for the all stars we just took the bus to sports and walked..

The busses should run up to 2 hours after the park closes. Also, this includes the parks that stay open for EMH. The busses were about every 15 to 20 minutes apart when I was there last year. But, there is no shade while waiting in line and it can get quite crowded early in the mornings and also when the parks first close. The Pop Century stop is also the furthest away form most of the park gates.

If you go to Beaches and Cream after Illuminations, you can't get back into Epcot to catch the bus. If DHS is closing at the same time, you might be able to take the boat (or walk) there, and get a bus back to Pop?

We have done the one in Fort Wilderness Lodge late at night, and ended up needing to take Downtown Disney bus, and then switching to the Pop Century bus from downtown. It took a long time to get back!

In May, we won from Year of a Million Dreams dreamteam, an extra hour at Magic Kingdom. We were concerned about how we were going to get back to French Quarter afterwards....we were reassured that if anyone was standing there waiting for a bus..they would send one.

We've been to Pop five times now, usually November or February, and have always found the bus system excellent! We've been at evening EMH at all the parks and the busses seem to keep going until there is no one left! I'm sure if you pushed it far enough you might get stuck in a cab, but as long as you are ready to go within a few hours of the park closing, you should be fine.

April and May might be busier, but the basic principles still apply...just longer waits!

Pop's bus stops usually are the farthest from the park entries, but it also doesn't share its busses with any other resorts, so you ride straight home.

Don't know much about getting the busses from Beaches & Cream or that whole area.
