How late can you stay in AK after closing?

We are going this summer when the sunset time is 8:30; AK park closing time is 7pm. I'd love to get some photos when it gets dark. How late can you stay in the park and more specifically AK back in Asia after closing?

I think the parks (excluding attractions) are open an hour after closing. So you would be able to be there at least until 8 but I am not 100% sure

I had the same idea. Last week, on a day that the park closed at 7pm, we had dinner reservations at Yak & Yeti for 6:55pm. No problem, says I...we'll just eat and then take a leisurely stroll around the park to get some sunset-time photos.

But nope...as soon as dinner was over and we walked outside, there were CMs ushering us toward the front of the park. I was hoping to see EE at sunset, but couldn't get to any spot where that was possible without a CM directing us toward the entrance.

I wish you better luck. And, of course, I'll certainly try again the next chance I get.

When the park closes at 7, it's closed. No one is allowed in. If you have a dining reservation, be assured, like another has said, that you will be escorted out. A late dinner in the park is not a pass for a leisurely stroll around the park having it all to yourself.

Well stay out of DinoLand when it gets close to closing, its been my experience that they shove you out of this area! They have actually had security and other CM's with ropes guiding people towards the Tree of Life.

Kind of an unrelated question, but it got me thinking.... at about 6:50, will they still let you in the queue for rides? or do they close down earlier than the park closing?

They let people get in line until official park close. There may be some limitations but I am usually one of the last people to get on splash mountain at :59.
