So for Christmas, Sea World is showing Muppet Christmas Carol at its water park as part of its Christmas line up? This was released by Buena Vista and is under the Disney IP umbrella. [Also they are showing the Universal pictures version of Grinch, which is the basis for the stage show over at Universal Orlando.] So how is this possible???

Loke like it's a movie that can be licensed for public showings...

True, but someone had to approve the venue as part of the licensing agreement. The location of "SEA WORLD" (a disney competitor) should've sent up a bunch of red flags to whomever licensed it.

Not necessarily. If Disney has licensed it to this company and put no restrictions on where it can be shown, then it's totally up to them and Sea World's money is as good as anyone elses.

For a while you'd hear the theme to Harry Potter on the bus to DHS. The main theme of "Holiday Wishes" was taken straight from the Polar Express (not a Disney movie). It's really not unusual to see works from the "competitors" in the theme parks. The only people who care about that stuff are fans in fan groups. For the majority, it's not a big deal.
