How hard is it to transfer once you start working? (and some other questions)

Sounds like a blast!! And yeah, school can be a huge hassle sometimes, but that's how it is! Do you enjoy working there? Are the people the employees nice? I've heard that getting a cool manager can make all the difference! I have traditions this Saturday, I'm super excited!!
In photopass? I absolutely LOVE it. Of course I also came in as a hobbyist with photography but I've still learned so much through the department, we're always being taught new things and everyone is absolutely amazing :)

That's great! Just wondering, but since you've been there for a while, do you know how the hotel discounts work? When can you start utilizing those discounts after traditions? Someone told me you get your main gate pass two weeks after traditions and I was wondering if hotel discounts are the same. How many rooms can you get... My sis wants to come with her friends.. so it's not for me, but will be under my name.

Thanks!

I'm going to message you with this information just because I don't want to be the one that makes it public to the internet kinda thing :)

Quick question! I just applied and photography is just a hobby for me, I am no way a professional and I'm worried because people have been telling me that Disney tends to hire people with photography degrees! I did my online interview and just picked my in person interview date/time. Any tips for that, especially as a PhotoPass Photographer? Disney has literally been my life since I was little! I don't want to mess this up!! Thanks :)

I'm working on a business degree and I'm in photopass, that should answer it! And for the interview, as I would say to anyone, be yourself. Be yourself. Be yourself. Be yourself!! They want to hire you, not the person you think you have to be to fit a role. As in any department in Disney, there are soooo many different types of people!

It's all pretty much on the The Hub anyway, so it's not that easy for the general public to get to

Either you go to UCF or you live by me lol, my drive is 40 minutes as well. I go to Polk State College in Lakeland. As for part time, from my understanding it's 3 days a week. What I do is attend class Monday-thursday (and like one friday class if need be) and then work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Have you ever considered transfering departments into ones that may help a bit with the pay rate? What field are you going into?
Oh hey I work at USF in Lakeland/go to PSC. Holler.

You got Water Parks?! That is awesome! You'll definitely enjoy it for sure!!

Yeah!! I can't wait!! I'm curious about what the PhotoPasses wear at the water parks though. I'm not sure if it's the same or if it looks like something the lifeguards wear. In my interview they asked me if I was comfortable in water up to my chest. I can't imagine wearing the normal PP costume in the wave pool! lol

it's a different costume, yeah. No safari vest that I know of, and of course you've got stuff to protect your gear. You'll have lots of fun for sure, the water parks crew are awesome!
