How far is Sea World from Disney and ...

It takes about 10 minutes or so to get there from Disney depending on traffic.
If a day trip to SeaWorld is the only time you will need a rental car, then I would just take a cab.
The price for a car vs. the price of a round-trip cab trip should be similar.
I'd just go with the cab because of the hassel of paperwork and time needed to rent a car.

Take I-4 east from WDW and follow the signs !! Seaworld is approx 10-15mins away and very easy to find if you're driving. However, if its just the one journey take a cab - much easier

We usually take the shuttle. It's 12 bucks round trip.
Just call Mears from your room a night or two before you want to be picked up and they'll be waiting for you.
