How far in advance can you book your stay?

I plan on going in December 2018. I love how Disney allows you to do sort of a payment plan up until the month before your trip. I'd love to just have that already in their system and start paying now but it only lets you up until the end of this year, currently.

So will I have to wait until January 2018 to book through their website for December 2018? Or will it be available to do so sooner or do I have any other options here (aside from just save the normal way heh)?

2018 packages should be bookable online in June or early July, but you can only book 499 days in advance.

And you can call and book a room only now actually for 2018 for up to 499 days from now. Then you can add tickets or dining to I later once 2018 prices are released if you want.
