How early to plan for arrival at WDW from Port Canaveral?

The second leg of our Disneymoon is after a Royal Caribbean cruise arriving on a Sunday morning (scheduled 6:00AM arrival). What's the earliest I should plan for ADRs or FP+ to comfortably allow for check-in at our resort (Coronado Springs) via Uber?

If it were me, I'd schedule a lunch ADR at a resort restaurant then make your way to MK (if that's the first park you're going to). So schedule your FP+ after lunch.

Thanks. That's what I originally had in mind anyway since we'd need to drop our bags off before heading to the park regardless.

No problem. I know you guys will be excited to go to the parks. But at the same time, you may want to catch your breath after you check into your room. Since you're doing Uber, you can probably be a little more aggressive with your lunch ADR but I wouldn't go overboard. With bus, you might have to schedule 1.5 hours after check-in, so maybe an hour if arriving at restaurant via Uber?

Well, I forgot to mention that this is actually part 2 of the WDW portion of the trip -- we're spending four nights @ POFQ before we set sail -- so I completely get that we'll want a little bit of down time before we head back into the fray. I'll pass on a lunch ADR to give us maximum flexibility and we can just decide on Pepper Market or Las Ventanas (if they have walk-up availability) once we're settled in.

Then afternoon/early evening FP+ is the way to go.

Op, 1st - Congrats!! Have a wonderful time on your honeymoon!!!

I will be traveling with a 6 year old, renting a car at Port Canaveral to go to WDW after our cruise. Can someone give me a realistic timeframe for us to arrive at the Contemporary?

Express walk off is not an option- I can't carry that many bags.

Wow! Did you do express walk off?

Just did some research about express departure thanks to this post. We're definitely going that route and will call for an Uber once we get a sense of how long it'll take to clear customs, etc. -- but I think we'll still err on the side of a more leisurely return to WDW, dropping our bags off and getting an early lunch at CS before heading out to MK for the rest of the day. We've got a pretty busy park schedule for the first half of our trip so I certainly don't mind taking our time and easing back into it after the cruise anyway.
