How Early for check in?

How early can you show up to check-in?

I don't mean actually getting into your room. I mean showing up to check-in. Do the resorts have certain times you can check-in?

I am staying at the AKL & Poly and would like to get specific rooms (and house if possible). I assume the earlier you check-in the better the chance of getting them.

Nope, you will probably get whatever room is available for you.

However it means youre not going to get to go to the parks that day

(Which is why i'm taking the 7AM flight out of Dulles)

Nope. Most likely, you will walk straight to your room without any wait. IF you have any special request, I would suggest you to call the hotel in advance so they can try and assign the room prior to your arrival time.

When are the reservations transfered to the resort? We'll be arriving at noon and want the Toy Story building at AS Movies. When do I need to call the resort?
