How early do you pack?

i started buying some of my items in march when i booked our trip--we leave in 3 weeks and i am starting to pack tonite!!!!

I haven't officially started to pack yet, but I have thrown some things into the spare room just to get them out of our room, like stacks of shorts. We leave in 2 1/2 weeks. I am waiting to try clothes on my 7 month old son. We bought summer clothes for him a few months back in bigger sizes, hoping that they will fit him when we go to Disney. Its hard to buy ahead for a growing baby! Once I try them on and see what fits, I will wash them and pack his stuff. We plan to buy baby items when we arrive in Florida. Still looking for the perfect diaper bag to pack things for the plane and for the parks each day, one that holds what we need and doesn't topple over!

Anyone travelling with a baby? What do you pack?
