How early can I collect my MagicBands & parking permit?

Quick question.

If I'm arriving at WDW on Monday, I appreciate it's 3pm to check in at AKL, but I need to collect my MagicBands and parking permit from the hotel as I would still like to be at MK for park opening. Can anyone confirm I can collect these things and leave my luggage at AKL early and return later to check in to my room? Thanks!

Yes you can do that no problem. They will hold your luggage at bell services. And some resorts will tell you they don't print parking passes anymore but I know for a fact if you insist they will still print one for you. Our recent trip to Kidani we asked for one and they still printed it for us. They won't do it automatically but usually if you're nice and ask they will do it.
If they don't want to you just use your MB to show proof you are staying on property.

You can get your MB's and drop your luggage off at the resort. They haven't been printing off the parking passes as that information is supposed to be tied to your MB so the guards have been scanning them at the entrance. I am not sure the exact "earliest" time you can get that from the resort but we have been there as early as 6:00 am to drop off luggage and get situated.

We still got one at Kidani by asking but some will tell you you can't get a paper one. So much easier than the MB's because they can just wave you through.

Yes once they finally insist on not printing one for us I know it's not that bad to do it the other way too. Love interacting with the pleasant CM's when we can.

3pm check in is property wide not just AKL, I often arrive at 11am, and if a room is available, they will let you into it.

Deluxe resorts have a mixed check in time 4pm or 3PM depending on the resort.

I always arrive around noon, and on the last few trips have direct to room. Most of the time the room is ready, or a short while there after. This is due to online checkin ahead of time, they know when to expect us

If you need to grab your bands at the desk, you have to stop in, even if room isn't ready, the bands should be there. We always have them shipped to the house ahead of time, so no reason to stop in at the desk anymore. Parking pass's also no longer required, for some time now.
