How does the Gift from Mickey/Personal Shopper work at the resorts?

I read on the December trip thread about the Gift from Mickey and Disney Personal Shopper. How does it work in the resorts? I would love to have a gift waiting for my daughter at our room when we arrive XMAS week, being this is her first visit. Thanks for the knowledge. Don V.

Thanks for the information. I think I am going to order something to the room to surprise my new hubbie when we honeymoon at WL in September. I think that would really make him smile!

FYI...Gifts of a Lifetime (Disney Personal Shopper) has now discontinued custom gift baskets to focus on their other "Custom Events."

However, I found another site to consider instead:

She charges a $28 dollar base fee (Peggy's is $25), but I think her prices are just slightly lower even though they both claim to use park pricing on all items. :shrug:

Just thought I would share in case anyone was planning to use the Personal Shopper for an upcoming trip...
